A Single Pretty Leaf

Maren found one very pretty, very perfect leaf and asked to keep it. I suggested she use it to start a collage, and this sent all four on a hunt through the backyard for more cool stuff for the collage. Now hidden somewhere in this backyard artwork is that single pretty leaf, though I couldn't tell you where!

Another Trip to Cajun Country

Some business concerning our house in Louisiana came up last week requiring us to have a very sudden change in Thanksgiving Day plans. We loaded the car back up and headed down the bayou once again. We enjoyed our visit very much. All the kids really loved having so much time to play with their cousins.

A Thanksgiving Tradition

For the past 6 years Ramsey and Maren have gone to Cook's house the night before Thanksgiving to help garnish the pecan pie cake Cook bakes for Thanksgiving dessert. The girls get to cut out leaves and acorns from pie crust which they then bake and put on and around the cake. And this year Alaire got to help too!

To be the wife of my sweet husband for nearly 15 years!

To be the mommy of Curran!
To live in a wonderful country, in a beautiful town where all my family can play safely and happily together on a warm beach with cool sand at dusk on a mid-November night.

I could never gather the words to express how thankful I am for my life and for all the amazing ways I've been blessed.

Fun with the Family

We all enjoyed a fun 3-day weekend back home! It sure was a blast catching up with all the cousins and grandparents and aunts and uncles!!
